Nor-Gwyn Pool 2020 Season Status Update as of May 27
Patron Update 5/27/2020
Governor Wolf has suggested in his Plan for Pennsylvania that local pools may open when Montgomery County moves to the “yellow phase”. Unfortunately, there are still significant regulatory restrictions and logistical challenges that make it impossible for us to open until Montgomery county moves to the “green phase.” This is a difficult decision, but our primary concern must be the health and safety of our patrons and staff. We continue to plan for an opening around July 1st, but only if the county has moved to “green”.
Looking ahead to when we can open, patrons and staff will need to operate under some significant changes. To meet governmental guidelines, we are considering things like scheduled blocks of time for patron access, mid-day closure for cleaning/disinfecting, limiting the number of patrons per session, along with other measures to encourage social distancing.
As we move forward in our preparations for opening we will continue to keep our patrons updated via email, Facebook and our website www.norgwynpool.com.
Please stay safe and bear with us as we navigate into the new normal.
